Job summary

Ascension Living’s Nazarethville Place in Des Plaines, IL is hiring for a full-time Nursing Support associate to assist with patient care under RN supervision. You’ll help with personal care, ADLs, transfers and daily routines, while reporting changes to nursing staff. A CNA/Nurse Aide certification is required, with BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; identify safety hazards and emergencies and take corrective action.
• Provide care appropriate to a specific population with time- and individually tailored care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
