Ascension Living in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to support residents in our Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing unit on the day shift, Full-Time.

This full-time role involves assisting with daily living activities, transfers, and basic care procedures ordered by a physician and supervised by an RN. You will report changes, help keep rooms clean, and contribute to a safe, respectful environment for residents and families.

Qualificações

• Nurse Aide certification required prior to hire or transfer date.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or accepted per American Heart Association/Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Report changes in physical, mental or emotional conditions to nursing staff and maintain room cleanliness.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist with basic patient care activities. Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
• Assist in providing care appropriate to a specific population by facilitating time and individualized care of assigned patients.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
