Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role supports the Adult Psychiatric Nursing Unit with direct patient care.

You will work 3x12s and participate in weekend/holiday rotations, perform biopsychosocial assessments, and develop care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• BLS within 30 days of hire, valid through employment.
• RN credential with Illinois Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and deliver direct nursing care to guide patients through individualized treatment journeys.
• Design, implement and adapt personalized care plans that align with multidisciplinary clinical goals and evolving patient needs.
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams in case conferences to refine treatment objectives and ensure seamless, coordinated care.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and clinical interventions, continuously evaluating patient progress to drive positive health outcomes.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
