Job summary

Nuclear Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Amarillo, TX to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care for veterans and DOE/Nuclear Energy program participants. You will assist with ADLs, offer companionship, and support nutrition and light housekeeping in patients' homes.

Requires active Texas CNA license, CPR certification, high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to work independently in a non-facility setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently in a non-facility setting.
• Home health, long-term care, or hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
• Support meal preparation, nutrition support and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in condition
• Follow care plans and document accurately using EMR standards

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, shift type, and market factors. The listed range reflects entry-level to highly experienced applicants.

Shifts

• PRN - minimum of 12 hours every 30 days
