Job summary

Heritage Woods of Charleston in Charleston, IL seeks a Part Time CNA for the 1st shift to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will assist with ADLs, follow individualized care plans, and report changes to the clinical team.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA certification, a High School diploma or GED, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support residents and families with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care as per each resident's care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report health status changes to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate manner.
• Participate in educational seminars and staff meetings for ongoing learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
