Senior Lifestyle in Colorado Springs seeks a Medication Technician to supervise self-administered meds, ensure MAR accuracy, and maintain proper med storage. You will provide personal care and basic nursing tasks, including vital signs, daily logs, and responding to resident needs.

Vaccination compliance is required, with a competitive hourly pay of $18.00–$19.50. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ month experience, and state-appropriate Medication Technician certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; 1+ month experience; Senior Living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications in compliance with regulations and company guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with others before handling keys; report discrepancies.
• Order medications and treatments when stock is low and notify when supplies run short.
• Verify medicines against MAR, store medications properly, and remove expired items weekly.
• Provide personal and nursing care including ADLs, vital signs, and daily documentation.
• Maintain medical charts and respond to resident needs; assist with calls and care tasks.
• Attend trainings and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
