Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Medication Technician for an Assisted Living community in Pennsylvania. The role involves supervising self-administered medications, providing personal care, and basic nursing tasks under supervision of LPN/LVN/RN and leadership.

Responsibilities include medication counting, storage, MAR reconciliation, and maintaining accurate medical records. A High School Diploma or GED and a state-certified Medication Technician credential are required, with English

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 1+ months of experience; Senior Living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• English proficiency to communicate with staff and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Mansioni

• Supervise self-administered medication for Assisted Living per MAR/TAR and guidelines.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel before distributing keys.
• Order medications and notify when supply is low (≤7 days).
• Notify supervisor if supply is <2 days and not received.
• Verify medicine against MAR and notify pharmacy of discrepancies.
• Store medications properly and date when opened; separate from oral meds.
• Perform daily and weekly med cart cleaning and restocking.
• Provide personal care and basic nursing duties including vital signs and daily logs.
• Attend staff trainings and maintain medical charts within 48 hours as required.
