You will provide personal care and support to residents, maintaining records and assisting with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ month of related experience
• Senior Living experience preferred
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate with staff
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications for the Assisted Living Department per regulations and company guidelines
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel before accepting keys; report discrepancies
• Order medications and treatments from pharmacy or notify responsible party when stock is low
• Notify supervisor when supply is low and not received
• Verify medications against MAR and report discrepancies to pharmacy and DHW
• Maintain proper storage of medications and separate lotions and liquids
• Document daily in logs and maintain medical charts within policy timelines
• Provide personal care and general nursing tasks including vital signs and ADLs
