Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer prescribed medications and provide personal nursing care to residents in the Assisted Living setting.

The role includes medication management, basic nursing duties, and meticulous documentation, with proactive supervision of self-administered meds and compliance with federal/state regulations. Strong communication and organization are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ month of experience preferred in senior living or healthcare.
• Medication administration or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• English proficiency to communicate with staff and residents.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments per MAR/TAR.
• Provide personal care and general nursing care to residents.
• Record and document in daily logs; communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Supervise self-administered medications and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and stock medications; verify accuracy against MAR; report discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and organized medication carts and records.
