Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehab is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide compassionate, safe medication administration and resident care in a long-term care setting. The CMA will work under licensed nurses to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and document treatments while maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• CNA and CMA certifications required in Oklahoma.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months LTC experience preferred.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Must maintain a working email and phone number for employer communication.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications under physician orders and nurse supervision.
• Uses the five rights of medication administration.
• Records medications and treatments in the resident chart.
• Notifies licensed staff of resident pain or changes in condition.
• Records vital signs as required and monitors resident condition.
• Responds to resident call lights and assists nurses as needed.
• Ensures safety and quality in all resident care tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
