Job summary

Pittsburg Care and Rehab seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our clinical team in a permanent, full-time role. You will pass medications as prescribed by the physician and provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following all facility policies.

You’ll observe and report changes in residents’ condition, attitude, appetite, and behavior, while upholding HIPAA and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas CMA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications as prescribed by the physician under supervision.
• Provide direct care to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Observe and report changes in condition, attitude, appetite, or behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality and foster a respectful environment for residents and families.
