Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate daily care to residents. You will work with nursing staff to promote safety, wellness, and person-centered care in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• CMA program completion or eligibility is required
• Active CMA certification in good standing
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team and follow state regulations

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision
• Verify resident identity and document dosage and observations
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• Maintain accurate care documentation and records
• Support admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork as needed
• Assist with light housekeeping and resident tours as requested
