Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care to residents in a supportive environment.

Under licensed supervision, you will ensure proper medication delivery, monitor residents, and document activities while upholding dignity and respect in a home-like setting. Join a team that values growth, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program meeting state requirements
• Active CMA certification in good standing

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document details
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork as required
• Support team members with needed assistance
• Perform light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested
