Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to provide direct resident care and supervise residents’ needs per individualized care plans. You will monitor for changes in condition, document changes to the Health Services Director, and assist in supervising resident assistants.

You will obtain and store medications, participate in training, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the medication area while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by their physician(s).
• Documents all functions related to medication management per regulation and community protocols.
• Obtains, receives, and stores medication(s) from pharmacy.
• Participates in the medication training program and demonstrates competency per the checklist.
• Maintains order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Assist residents with daily baths, dressing, grooming, and preparation for activities.
• Provide functions as directed by supervisor including vital signs, weight, and charting entries; report changes to supervisor.
• Prepare residents for meals and after-meal care.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and residents’ rights; report complaints or incidents.
