Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a qualified Medication Aide to support residents with prescribed medications and participate in daily care activities. You will administer medications, document all related actions, and follow physician orders and community protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by physician(s).
• Document all functions related to medication management as required by regulation and by community protocols.
• Obtain, receive, and store medication(s) from pharmacy.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Provide daily records including vital signs, weight, measures; observe skin integrity and report changes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report complaints/incidents to supervisor.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge; inventory possessions; report defective equipment.
• Understand and apply universal precautions and safety rules; ensure cleanliness and proper restraints record-keeping.
• Attend orientation, training, and staff meetings; perform other tasks as directed by management.
