Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to provide direct resident care and medication administration per care plans. You will monitor residents for changes, document updates, and assist with daily activities to support resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with licensed nursing staff. Indiana regulations and community policies guide all duties; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program and current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position.
• MUST BE INSULIN CERTIFIED.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with oral, topical, inhalation, subcutaneous medications as ordered by healthcare providers and state regulations.
• Document all medication management activities as required by regulation and community protocols.
• Obtain, receive, and store medications from pharmacy; keep locked at all times.
• Observe for drug reactions and report concerns to nurse or physician.
• Perform tasks related to medication administration and vitals; stock the medication cart.
• Participate in medication training and competency checks.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Follow safety and infection control policies; attend orientation and trainings.
• Assist residents with daily activities and meals; respond to call lights promptly.
