Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to provide direct resident care in accordance with individualized care plans and policies. You will monitor changes in residents, assist with medications, and document activities per regulations and community protocols.

Reports to Health Services Director/Charge Nurse and will help supervise resident assistants, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of Qualified Medication Aide program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position; CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
• High School education preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 35 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by physician(s).
• Documents all functions related to medication management as required by regulation and community protocols.
• Obtains, receives, and stores medications from pharmacy.
• Participates in the medication training program and demonstrates competency.
• Maintains order and cleanliness in medication storage area.
• Assist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, and preparing for activities.
