Job summary

The Covenant Retirement Communities & Covenant Care is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality resident care under a nurse’s direction. This dual-certified role ensures safe medication assistance and hands-on daily living support to promote dignity and independence.

Key duties include administering medications per orders, maintaining clean rooms, assisting with ADLs, and supporting transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CNA CMA and CPR preferred.
• State regulations for proper training/certifications/licensure.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications under nurse supervision and document accurately.
• Maintain resident rooms and perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, feeding).
• Assist residents with transfers and mobility using proper safety techniques.
• Attend facility meetings and training; maintain infection control practices.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing resident care.
