Shifts are 6a-6p and 6p-6a, every other weekend off, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and paid time off. Qualifications include a GED and current Texas Nurse Aide certification; English communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shampoo, dress residents and provide grooming.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep residents clean and dry; assist with toileting or incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective and safe environments for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
