Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered care at the Canistota facility in Canistota, SD. The role supports daily living activities, assists with meals, and administers medications under nurse supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and ideally have CNA experience in long-term care. State CMA/TMA certification requirements apply; full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week, with a $19.50–$28.00 hourly wage and a $10,000

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, and care-related outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and gathering vital signs.
• Assist with meals and dining, housekeeping, and recreation activities.
