Job summary

Jobrapido seeks an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and ER coding experience for a 100% remote contract opportunity. The eight-week assignment runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 35 hours per week, with a weekend day rotation.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in outpatient coding, ER/ED coding, acute care coding, and proficiency with 3M/CPT-4/ICD-10. CCS/CCP/AHIMA RHIA/RHIT certifications and a HS diploma are preferred. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience is required.
• Acute care coding experience is required.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal guidelines.
• Strong computer skills and ability to research coding issues.
• English proficiency required.

Certified Medical Coder – Outpatient & ED

• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote -
• Job Type: Contract \"
• Duration : 8 weeks
• Job Category: Non-Clinical
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting
