Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Certified Medical Coder with Outpatient and Emergency Department experience for an 8-week contract. This 100% remote, W2 role requires 3–5 years of outpatient coding and ED coding expertise.

Work is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. Weekend work may be required. We offer weekly pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan and dedicated recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting
