Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and ED coding experience for a 8-week remote contract opportunity. The candidate should have 3+ years of outpatient coding with ED exposure, familiarity with 3M and HDS systems, and CCS/CCP or AHIMA RHIA/RHIT credentials preferred.

Weekend work may be required during project duration. Position offers 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday schedule, remote work arrangement, and weekly pay with benefits such as

• Acute care coding experience.

Certified Medical Coder – Outpatient & ED

• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote -
• Job Type: Contract \"
• Duration : 8 weeks
• Job Category: Non-Clinical
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of outpatient medical coding experience .
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required .
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application .
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application .
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• English proficiency required.
