Jobrapido is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience for a fully remote, 8-week contract. The role requires 3+ years in outpatient coding including ED settings, with proficiency in 3M and HDS coding systems, ICD-10/ICD-9-CM and CPT-4, and solid research skills.

The position offers a 35 hours/week schedule, Monday–Friday, with one weekend day optional.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acu te care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• English proficiency required.

• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2
