Job summary

One Medical in Darien, CT is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to deliver exceptional patient care and administrative support. You will perform venipuncture and assist with lab tasks while guiding patients through the care journey.

This full-time role requires an active MA certification and strong communication. You will work with a collaborative team using our tech tools to ensure a smooth in-office experience.

Qualifications

• Active MA certification from approved bodies.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training.
• At least 6 months MA or phlebotomy experience outside training.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and extended scope duties as needed.
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Support front desk with insurance verification and check-in/out.
• Maintain lab specimen labeling, handling, and processing.
• Communicate clearly with patients and providers; act as liaison.
• Operate EMR and collaborate with team on clerical tasks.
