Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to deliver high-quality patient care in our West Hartford or Glastonbury offices. You will perform venipuncture, assist with lab tasks, and support both front desk and clinical operations to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, 6+ months of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• MA certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT or AMT.
• Graduated from an accredited MA program or completed military MA training.
• At least 6 months of MA or Phlebotomy experience outside training.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with multiple software systems and online navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support for patients.
• Manage front desk tasks and patient intake with care.
• Support office operations, scheduling and billing inquiries.
• Assist with vitals, EKGs/ECGs and specimen labeling.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile practices.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members.
