Job summary

Flowers Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under the supervision of a medical provider. The CMA will support clinical and administrative functions, assist with procedures, maintain exam rooms, manage patient intake, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Perform patient intake duties, including reporting test results and phone triage.
• Review and maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Maintain organized workload and deliver courteous service to patients and visitors.
• Monitor and requisition clinic supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and other health topics.
