Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support nurses and physicians by preparing charts, pulling notes, and assisting with testing and lab reporting. The CMA will also manage inventory, set up equipment, and maintain sterile techniques while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with procedures, phlebotomy, handling registrations, and using EMR systems to deliver efficient medical administrative support.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and be licensed/registered in the state.
• BLS certification required and must remain current during employment.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region regularly.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in handling patient information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with minor clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Handle registrations, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain inventory and clean instruments and rooms.
• Efficiently use EMR software for administrative support.
