Physicians Regional Medical Group is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under a physician's supervision. The CMA will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, handle patient intake, and support clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires CMA certification and involves clinical and administrative duties, including documentation, scheduling, and patient education.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship
• Proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures and vitals (e.g., injections, phlebotomy, EKGs)
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures
• Handle patient intake, triage, and document medical information
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals
• Verify insurance eligibility and manage clinic communications
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics
