Flowers Medical Group in Dothan, AL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and administrative functions under supervision. You will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, and ensure smooth patient flow while delivering excellent service.

The ideal candidate has 0-1 year of medical practice experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong interpersonal skills to work with patients and providers effectively.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and injections.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, report test results, and document information per guidance.
• Provide phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and urine tests as needed.
• Support administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals.
• Maintain organized workload and deliver courteous service to patients and staff.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to keep inventory in good order.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics; address questions clearly.
• Comply with policies and maintain regular attendance.
