Job summary

My Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to prepare charts, pull notes, and support nurses and staff. You will handle vital signs, phlebotomy, minor procedures, testing, vaccinations, and patient education while maintaining inventory and device setup.

Responsibilities include EMR use, referrals, insurance verification, and scheduling, with a focus on HIPAA confidentiality and team collaboration to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Active state license/registration must be maintained.
• BLS certification must be current.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork.
• CMA certification is preferred and should remain active.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and setting up equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and record medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Assist with minor clinical procedures.
• Conduct point-of-care testing.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Provide patient health education.
• Maintain inventory and clean instruments.
