Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / CMA to perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and clinical tasks under physician supervision. You will handle front desk duties, schedule visits, and ensure proper documentation in the EMR system, while maintaining courteous, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of an accredited MA program, and CMA/RMA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an MA program recognized by New Jersey.
• Certification as CMA/RMA required.
• BCLS certification preferred and will be required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; verify insurance compliance and collect payments.
• Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments; answer calls for clinical or billing inquiries.
• Perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs and tests as directed by physician.
• Document accurately in EMR according to policies and licensure.
• Support office operations and maintain a respectful, patient-centered environment.
