Job summary

Panoramic Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to handle administrative and clinical tasks in a physician office setting. You will greet patients, collect copays, schedule visits, and assist providers during exams.

Experience with AthenaClinicals and PMD Soft is preferred, along with HIPAA compliance and strong data entry skills. Role requires an accredited MA program, CMA certification (AAMA) or equivalent, CPR preferred, and at least 1 year in a physician office.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA certification by AAMA or equivalent certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant MA experience in a physician office.
• Broad understanding of clinical operations and physician office practice.
• AthenaClinicals electronic health record experience.
• Experience with PMD Soft and other secure clinical applications.
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy laws; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and performs check-in/out accurately and timely.
• Answers phone calls, schedules appointments, and manages clinical inboxes in AthenaClinicals.
• Rooms patients, collects vitals, medications, and reconciles data in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures; prepare labs and chart patient info.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure labs/imaging are scheduled appropriately.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients per physician guidance.
