Job summary

Panoramic Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to handle administrative and clinical tasks. You will greet patients, check them in/out, collect payments, schedule appointments, and manage the athenaClinicals system.

You will also take vitals, assist with exams, facilitate referrals, and process medication authorizations. HIPAA compliance and patient privacy are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant medical assistant experience in a physician office.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform check-in/check-out procedures; collect copays and balances.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage clinical inboxes in the EHR.
• Room patients, take vitals, collect patient information, and document in athenaClinicals.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures; perform clerical duties as needed.
• Process referrals, tests, and medication authorizations; maintain confidentiality.
