Job summary

Valley Health System seeks a skilled Medical Assistant/Front Desk staff member for Paramus, NJ. Under supervision, perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs and related tests, with accurate EMR documentation and courteous patient interaction.

Role includes front desk duties: greeting patients, verifying insurance and collecting payments, while coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant per Board requirements
• BCLS certification preferred on hire, will be required
• Ability to work with clinic staff and maintain patient flow

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, blood draw, EKG and tests as directed by physician
• Document accurately in EMR per licensure and policy
• Maintain proper workflow and patient care with clinic staff
• Front desk support: greeting, scheduling, insurance compliance and payments
