Valley Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Paramus, NJ. Under physician direction, you will perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and front-desk duties while accurately documenting in an EMR system. A NJ-recognized MA program and certification are required.

You will support clinic workflow, coordinate with clinical staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role includes office management tasks and frontend operations, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal Medical Assistant program recognized by the State of New Jersey.
• Certification required.
• Completion of formal coursework in office management, database management or business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, ensure insurance compliance and collect payments.
• Maintain daily patient schedule and answer calls for scheduling, refills or inquiries.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for special needs and patient flow.
• Support practice staff as directed by Practice Manager.
