Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and supporting the practice manager. A NJ-recognized MA program and certification are required, with BCLS preferred on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Medical Assistant program recognized by NJ. Certification required.
• Experience in a clinic or physician office preferred.
• Six months of customer service/clerical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; verify insurance and collect payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and support office management tasks.
