Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program is strongly preferred but not required.
• Medical Assistant certification by MA AAMA/AMT/NCMA/CCMA/NCHPA is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum one year of full-time Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming/intake with vital signs and data collection.
• Collect patient data including medical and social history.
• Assist providers with treatments and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Support registration, scheduling, and referrals; maintain clean rooms.
