UNC Health's Infectious Disease Clinic in Raleigh seeks a Medical Assistant II, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. You will assist providers, perform phlebotomy, vitals, medication administration, and patient education under supervision.

The ideal candidate has ambulatory care experience, strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills to document information into the electronic medical record.

Qualificações

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred but not required.
• Must hold Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body.
• BLS certification required or strongly preferred.
• At least one year of full-time CMA experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rooming and intake with vitals and visit reason.
• Collect patient data and medical/social history.
• Assist provider during treatments and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer medications under supervision.
• Maintain exam rooms, assist with registration and scheduling.
