UNC Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II, Certified for our Infectious Disease Clinic in Raleigh, NC. This full‑time outpatient role supports providers with rooming, vitals, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and patient education under supervision.

Candidates should have CMA certification and at least one year of experience, with strong teamwork and communication. Day schedule; on-site, 40 hours/week, competitive pay.

Formación

• Requires Medical Assistant certification from AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA.
• BLS certification required by AHA or ARC.
• Minimum one year of full-time CMA experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rooming and intake, recording vitals and visit data.
• Review medications, allergies, and pharmacy preferences.
• Assist provider during procedures and phlebotomy.
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms; ensure supplies ready.
• Schedule tests, referrals and follow-up visits; assist with registration.
