Position: Medical Assistant, Family Medicine

Location: Winston Salem, NC, United States

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and support medical operations
• Manage clerical tasks, schedule appointments, assist in examinations and procedures
• Conduct patient interviews, record vital signs, document meticulously
• Prepare examination rooms, administer medications, follow infection control policies
• Maintain medication records and adhere to point-of-care testing policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree preferred
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, etc.) from recognized organizations
