Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse

Schedule: Days, 8am-5pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Performs and/or coordinates a variety of patient care duties under appropriate clinical supervision.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of clinical medicine practice and procedures.
  • Recognizes medical needs of patients and their families.
  • Educates patients and family members about health conditions.
  • Explains prescribed medications to patients and families.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program with a current CMA credential, or graduate of an ABHES-accredited medical assisting program with a current RMA credential, or a current valid North Carolina LPN license.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a primary care physician's office preferred, but not required.
