Qualifications

• Active Medical Assisting certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA) is required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification must be obtained at hire or prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review patient charts for accuracy.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory checks and answering phones.
• Resolve problems promptly.
