Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support primary care physicians, update health records, measure vitals, and prep exam rooms. The role emphasizes accurate charting and smooth patient flow in a busy clinic.

You will greet patients, review charts, and coordinate with physicians and staff. A CMA certification (or ABR-OE) and a High School Degree are required, with BLS certification expected at hire for eligible locations.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from an approved organization is required or ABR-OE alternative.
• BLS Basic Life Support is required at hire for certain locations or prior to independent patient care.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts, verify test results and up-to-date records.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory checks, tracking referrals and answering phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly and support team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
