Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Amberly Village Primary Care in Cincinnati. The CMA works with the primary care physician to deliver patient care, reviews health records, measures vitals, and prepares treatment rooms for examinations.

The role supports clerical tasks and patient flow in a busy clinic. Required is a High School degree or GED with CMA certification or ABR-OE option; BLS is preferred at hire for some locations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Active Medical Assistant certification or ABR-OE acceptable (MA certs listed).
• BLS from American Heart Association preferred or required at hire for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community with professionalism.
• Review and update patient charts and records.
• Measure vital signs: pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with visits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; perform clerical duties as needed.
