Mercy Health in Lima is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care physician by maintaining patient records, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate vital signs, chart reviews, and handling routine clerical tasks. Certification and BLS are required or supported through training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent) required; ABR-OE acceptable where allowed.
• BLS/CPR certification required prior to independent patient care where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients with excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits using medical records.
• Measure vital signs: pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height.
• Perform clerical duties: stocking supplies, tracking referrals, answering phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
