Job summary

Mercy Health's Oregon Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with the primary care physician, delivering high-quality patient care within MA scope and state guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing health records, updating charts, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires relevant MA certification and basic computer literacy. Applicants should have at least a High School diploma or GED and meet BLS/CPR requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active MA certification from CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA or NHA.
• BLS/CPR certification required (as applicable).
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits; verify diagnostics and hospital reports.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respirations, BP, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, track referrals, and answer phones as needed.
