Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Hand Therapist to lead advanced hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. The role emphasizes evaluation, custom orthoses, and individualized recovery plans, with collaboration among hand surgeons and therapy teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in upper-extremity rehab and experience supervising therapy staff, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Directs and supervises activities of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions; scar management and return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
