Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will assess patients, develop recovery plans, and fabricate custom splints while coordinating care with the wider therapy team.

In this role you will supervise students and staff, engage in orthotic fabrication, and manage post-surgical rehab with a focus on return-to-work goals, edema control, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT degree preferred; OT program graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years upper-extremity rehab experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial/ongoing assessments and establish care plans.
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehabilitation and splinting.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and therapists.
• Lead and supervise assistants, students, and staff.
• Document services and maintain accurate records.
• Post-surgical and injury rehab including scar and edema management.
