Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs, including custom splints, while collaborating with hand surgeons and therapists across the care team.

The role emphasizes leadership in educating patients, supervising staff, and delivering high-quality postoperative and injury rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Specializes in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehab.
• Requires current state PT or OT license.
• CHT credential preferred for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document delivery of OT/PT services.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases; manage wounds and scar.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians; participate in care planning.
